Short walks/trails on our land

Please feel free to walk around our land.

As you arrive into the property, you may have noticed the chicken-run (the fenced area along your right hand side as you drive in) – a substantial flock of mixed breeds & a few ducks, even some baby chicks if your timing is right.  Feel free to visit the hen-run & enjoy watching the antics

Some walks from the Chalet

• Going down the driveway from the Chalet (just before our own house) you will see a little track/entrance on your right – this leads to a beautiful little woodland – a very therapeutic little walk

• Looking out from the Chalet, there is a meadow right in front - walk down the path along the left ditch, to the bottom corner, cross clearing in ditch into the next meadow, veer right into the orchard - have a look around and chat to the fruit trees if you like (help yourself to apples & nuts in Autumn) . You can continue walking along the lefthand side of the orchard to the bottom, straight through the entrance to another lovely woodland where there are loop paths and a wetland/pond area at the bottom.
